Boyfriend has stomach cancer - how can I help?

I'm new here.
I know what cancer is and what it does. I lost my mother to pancreatic cancer in 1994. So I've been down this road, but this time it's different.
When my mother died, I was just 9. I had no idea how to help her, or help myself.
But now I'm dating a friend of mine, we've known each other for years. He's had cancer for about 2 years now - he's been in remission once and is somewhat on his way in that direction again. But every now and again it flares up, scares the hell out of him, sends him coughing blood to the hospital for the whole round of tests. He can't come see me on those days because he's so ill, won't let me come see him. I respect that. I knew what I was in for when I fell in love with a guy with cancer, and I love him still.
But I want to help him. What can I do? Is there any way that I can make him feel better, even just emotiaonlly or mentally?
I would appreciate some advice.

Hello Lois and welcome to
Hello Lois and welcome to you and your boyfriend. Glad to hear that he has been in remission and is headed that way again. I would suggest to tell him you love him each and every day. I agree do send him flowers just because. And be there for him 24/7. I hope and pray the best for both of you.
