I can't have cancer
I would love to hear from anyone who has melonoma or is a survivor. I was diagnosed two days ago and I'm just really nervous and would have no idea of what to expect. My next appointment is with a specialist and he is going to schedule surgery. I appreciate any feedback.

melanoma

MOHS surgery over
Well, I had my MOHs surgery on the side of my nose on Wednesday, Aug 23rd. I found it didn't hurt but I was very anxious. I was pretty uncomfortable when the pain killers wore off. I thought I'd go right back to work, but felt really lousy for a couple of days ( I worked a few hours each day). My eyes were swollen and…

Am I a Survivor
I was recently diagnosed with Melanoma. I'm not sure of my type (forgot to ask), but it was very shallow, .32 percent deep. My mind can not take in this information that I have cancer. But do I really, can I call myself a cancer patient when all they are doing is cutting away at my skin and nothing more...dramatic...?
