This is it - tomorrow is the big day ....
Hello my sisters! Ok, provided I get big enough kahuna's to show up, my surgery to remove the rib bone is scheduled for tomorrow morning. Apparently, the tumor(?) has grown and may be invading an adjacent rib. So, the docs say it is a 'must have surgery' at this point. Hopefully, it is some freaky benign growth and not a…

Reconstruction -Decision Time
My plastic surgeon is strongly advising me to opt for the inplants to do my bilateral reconstruction instead of choosing the back flap (latissimus dorsi back muscle) with a small inplant (silicone) for balance. He explained that with either surgery I should still expect future surgeries to replace the inplant eventually.…

Tamoxifen vs. Arimidex
Hi Ladies! There have been some posts about the hair loss associated with tamoxifen use. I feel as though I am going bald. Yoga works
I have taken advantage of taking Yoga classes at the Wellness Center by me that are scaled down to a pre-Yoga so BC people can actually do the work and feel good. I've done it twice and twice I've experienced an easier time of breathing, being aware that my back wasn't hurting and the expanders hurt less. I felt more…

Re: Anyone tired?
were I 97, I could honestly say I didn't feel any more tired than could be expected. I am, however, 54 and have two more radiation treatments to go. I work full time and must be beginning to look like my old self, if you discount the wig. I don't feel like that at all and feel far older than I did last April before this…

Feeling Older-Thanks To You Feeling Better
Thanks, Everyone! I needed to hear your answers. I know, deep inside, I'm doing okay but from day to day it's hard to be creative on command (I'm a graphic designer in label design--spent my time in radiation doing speculative work on breast pumps of all things--get these things away from me!!!). Thank you for picking my…
