tamoxifen and healing
Hi all....I have a good friend who is also a breast cancer survivor. She had a tumor removed from her wrist in July (totally unrelated to the cancer, and not malignant). They had to take a little of the bone out, and packed it with calcium and said it would heal over. The problem is that it hasn't healed over yet. She was…

should I have lumpectomy?
I was diagnosed 2 years ago and have had radiation and chemo, but the cancer had spread to bones and liver by the time it was discovered, so they left the breast tumor in place. I have been off of chemo for 16 months and take Femara, but I have been worrying about the source tumor. It has been reduced, but it is still…

I finished surgery, chemo and radiation a year and a half ago. I am taking Tamoxifen and I go to my Oncologist every three months. update on swelling and radiation
I went to my rad doc today and he said the swelling in my breast is edema from the radiation and probably isn't connected to the lymhadema in my arm. Hopefully it will eventually settle down and disappear. He did postpone my December mammograms because he said that would just aggravate the edema. I get my custom sleeve for…
