Nipple sparing mastectomy
I had a nipple sparing mastectomy done four weeks ago. My left breast doesn't seem to be healing as quickly as the right. I have expanders under the muscle of both breasts and no longer have drainage tubes. Everything else is healing well but the soreness on the left side of my left breast concerns me. Any thoughts?

2017-Silicone or Saline implants?
I had a double mastectomy in July with expanders. I am having my implants put in at the end of March. What are your thoughts on saline vs silicone? I'm not having kids(just turned 50). I know there has been controversy over silicone and possible links to autoimmune diseases if they leak. Have heard silicone are more…

Rads question: Marks & stickers
I'm currently having rads to both breasts, which I understand isn't really common, so I don't know if others are having this problem: In addition to the 3 tiny tattoos that they use to line me up with the lasers in the wall and ceiling each time, I also have half a dozen nickel-sized x's drawn on me with a marker, which…

Men mostly have a hard time sharing their feelings. Please wait and listen for when they do share them with you. Some men will go…

Chemo or No chemo
...Can't sleep, After meeting with my medical oncologist yesterday, I left with no real answers on whether or not to do chemo. I had a double mastectomy on 9/27 and I'm almost 1/2 way through the reconstruction. Last week I had good news that I would not need to do radiation so I assumed (and remained hopeful) this would…

healing of a broken bone
I broke my shoulder skiing on new years eve, on my left side the same side of the breast cancer. I wasn't doing anything extreme, I just toppled over. Pleomorphic ILBC out there?
Does anyone have the Pleomorphic variant of Invasive Lobular Breast Cancer? I have this subtype which is more aggressive, with the BC cells dividing and spreading more rapidly than in regular ILBC.
