Survived another 'country switch'....
We arrived safely in The Netherlands on Tuesday. It is very cold here, and today I was gifted with a soft snowfall. I am busy putting the house together, and settling in, contacting friends, and planning our days. The end of February we have booked a cruise from Rome to Turkey, Israel, Greece. By then, this sun-loving gal…

Today is not a good day. Feeling very scared and uncertain of my future. Had One Abraxane treatment so far for mets to nodes and one small spot on my hip. Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know that I am keeping you all in my prayers and sending out positive energy to each and every one of you. I'm sending a shout out to all of you,…

They have a procedure room reserved for this…

CT scan results. No MRI results yet.
The onc called late on Friday with results. (I haven't been able to get on since then.) We will be changing my chemo again. One of the lymph nodes is larger, the local recurrence is larger, and there is fluid in the lining around both lungs. There is not enough to drain, so the hope is the new chemo will take care of it. I…

Have any of you had the BRAC 1 or BRAC 2 test done, or, your daughters?
I've read where some insurance companies will pay for it and some say theirs didn't, so, they paid for it out of their own pocket. Also, if you do test positive, does or will that effect any future treatment for you or for your daughters? Could it be used against someone to test positive? Like trying to get life insurance…
