    I am so sorry - words really fail but thoughts and prayers don't.

    It is so good that your Dr knows Meena's as there aren't that many who really 'know' the sneaky, aggressive beast that is IBC.

    On Christmas Eve, I always light my candle lit tree but this year will be special - with each candle that is lit a special prayer will be said.
    (How about others lighting a candle Friday night? I'm probably the only one that has a candle lit tree but any candle is special!)

    I wish I had some magic words to ease your mind and to console and comfort you. I wish I had a magic wand to erase the pain and this horrid disease from you. I wish that I could just reach out across the miles and hug you to let you know how loved you are by all of your sisters in pink here. I wish...I wish...I wish......

    You are an amazing and courageous sister Heidi. You have, still are and still will continue to fight the beast with all that you have. Your strength and spirit amazes me and I admire you so much for that.

    I pray that you feel all of the prayers and strength that all of your sisters in pink here are sending to you and are offering to you. We all share a bond that unites us forever and we are always here when another sister needs us, as you do now.

    With Meena's oncologist and yours putting their heads together, who knows what may happen. I always have believe that there is light at the end of even the darkest of tunnels, and, I believe that for you sincerely. Never give up, never!

    Prayers are powerful! We are all here praying for you. With the two doctors talking together truly pray they come up with a "miracle drug" for you. They perhaps have a circle of doctor friends that they can team up with, consult with.
