she is in my prayerschenheart said:Long Time No See
Hi Eze!
It seems we are rarely on line at the same time anymore~ I miss the jokes and "Tribal Gossip" we used to share.
It is great seeing your name on the boards here; I only wish the reason could have been a happier one.
Be well, my friend!

O dear o dear o dear. I was so sad to read about Marie. I stopped coming to chat some time back, but Marie and I remained in touch via email. And I came on tonight to try and see if there was news of her as I hadn't heard from her in a week or so. Joe is quite right when he refers to Marie's non judgmental attitude (i too am agnostic) and that attitude is a rarity these days. I am very saddened by this news but I know Marie will be more than ok, as she had such faith. I will miss you Marie as I truly appreciated your friendship.
I am here with tears rolling down my cheeks and smiling at the first time I met you in chat and I rather stupidly asked "where are you from Ohiogirl" what a duh moment and you laughed.
And Zahalene I send you my condolences too as I know you were both such close friends.
Bibi my sweet friend and take careXXXXXXX

OMG dear friend, so glad to hear from you. I hope all is well with you and that you will be posting and maybe chatting more often. Nice "seeing" you again. It's been way to long. Hugs, Lili0 -

Can it truly be you?? My friend in London who sells lamps???? My rock and roll in California friend?? If so~ OMG! I have missed you soooo much!
Let me know it is truly you! Here's our "trick question"...what is the name of the Rock and Roll singer to whom I gave your regards when I saw him at a casino , and he was a total pig???? LOL
Hugs,
Claudia
Nick and I are laughing here. The answer of course is none other than Gene Simmonds roflmao!!!!!!!!!!! I luv that a strumpet! And you said you wouldnt mention anything about that Joe lol. And I too miss the fast and furious, chat that is hahahahahaha. I have been so busy this last or so getting my life back on track. Bought new laptop lost loads of data, and I live with an IT consultant and we didnt have back ups lol. Total confusion ensued as I have chemo brain! My msn is tricialamplady@hotmail.co.uk to keep in touch ok? Hello to anyone else who reads this too.
On a more serious note I was, and am, as I said earlier very upset to hear that Marie isn't doing well at all. And I send my sincere thoughts to her, her family and friends. Its so hot in London so I am off to chill in the garden. Take care everyone0 -

My thoughts and prayers are with Marie and all her friends and family.
May she find comfort and peace during this time.
It is so apparent by all the posts how loved and admired she is.
Hugs to all of you,

Although I am not close to Marie like some others here, I came to respect her and understand what a wonderful supportive person she was to all in need. Last fall when I was going thru some things with my Mother, she helped me thru it with words of encouragement and wisdom. I only regret that I was never able to accept her invitation to visit her in person. I have great faith that Marie is being held securely in God's arms as he carries her thru this time. Hugs and prayers to Marie and her loved ones.

I spoke with son John late this afternoon. Marie continues to cling to life with the tenacity we all know she is capable of and for which we came to love and respect her.
She makes us proud to be among her friends. And humbled to bear witness to what the human spirit can bear when it resides in one as courageous as our Marie.
She has not only helped so many of us to live beyond our adversities but now she shows us how to squeeze the last drop of power out of whatever life we are allotted.
May we each learn from her example.0 -

I am so sorry to hear this. Marie was also a very active part of my experience in this world. She truly helped ease my fears as they would overwhelm me. She helped teach me the lesson of trust, friendship and hope. I am deeply saddened by this as we lose another friend to this disease.
I will keep her and all of her friends and family in my heart.0 -

another of us takes the long stroll onto the elysian fields. or thru the pearly gates if you prefer. i shall be thinking of her as taking one of her walks along the path near her home as she liked to do on warm days. my strength, my anchor so many times. always willing to give me what for when i deserved it too. i shall miss you mom, our long chats, watching tv together despite being 2000 miles apart (the wonders of satellite tv). your wit and humor. peanut butter cookies with the fork marks on top. potato chips and pepsi. .. perhaps we shall meet again on the other side, just not too soon ok?
i love you marie
How very beautifully put. My prayers for Marie

OMG Zah!
Without your postings I would have never known.
Thank you so much for sharing with us.
I last heard from Marie about 3 weeks ago. She said she
had walked to the store and felt good doing it.
I was so happy for her and yet knew she was failing.
Even with all she had to bear - she was still talking of
baking cookies from Auntie O..... for "her Patrick" (my son).
Her heart is so full of love and her spirit filled with strength.
I sent her a card last week but had not heard anything.
I am so glad you are communicating with John.
With my prayers each day since she has had hospice,
I ask God to give her comfort and find her "special place" where
there is no pain...only peace.
I pray He brings her that peace soon.

You wrote such
Chickie1~
You wrote such precious words~ our Marie has touched so many hearts, hasn't she? And what a son John is!!!! As Zah said to me just today, it's really no surprise, considering who his mother is! I had to heartily agree with her~ Marie's heart is no doubt calm knowing just what a son she raised...
Hugs,

My thoughts and prayers go
My thoughts and prayers go out to Marie, her family, and friends. She sounds like an incredible woman and I am saddened that I won't get to know this beautiful woman. She has obviously left her mark on the many people that she has touched. She sounds like one of those few, rare, people that are considered angels on earth.
Love and gentle hugs,

Three weeks....
our Marie has now been in hospice hospital. She continues to cling to life with a tenacity that boggles the minds of her family, friends, and medical professionals. She is one strong woman.
Her son asked me to convey his heart felt gratitude for all the expressions of love and concern for Marie he has received from the csn crowd. He continues to spend a lot of time with her and makes sure every good care is taken of her. He says her hospice professionals are amazing and have extended to her every possible consideration of comfort and care.
Further updates forthcoming as warranted.0 -

Boggles the mind indeed, Zah! I can't begin to understand the intricies of the human body and spirit. That our Marie was hours from passing and it is now 3 weeks is simply incredible. I know you have been in touch with her, and that her son could not be any more loving and attentive to his sweet mama.
Thanks for the update, Zah...I know you will keep us posted. Bless your heart;especially as Marie has become one of your closest friends since joining CSN.
Hugs,
Claudia0
