laurissa not doing well

sorry I havent posted ,but I do want to thank everyone for the cards ,gifts and prayers sent to Laurissa. I hate to tell you that the cancer has spread to her brain...She will have radiation on thurs.22nd she is not doing well, can't get out of bed,she is not eating and drinks very little. It's so hard to see her like this... when is it time to say enough is enough...Im afraid to say Im not handling this well, and not sleeping. Im trying to stay strong for her and family. Again I want to thank everyone, and please continue to pray for her. I will post again soon, Kathy

    I hate hearing this news. I will continue my prayers for you both. Please let Laurissa know that we are all here with her.

    I'm sorry that you are going through this & Im sure it's very hard to see Laurissa like this, but you have to take care of yourself too. Maybe your Dr can give you something to help you sleep. I'm sending you a hug & lots of positive thoughts.

    I am sorry that all of you are going through this. This disease sucks and just keeps giving. Praying that rads will give her some relief and with it some peace. You need to take care of yourself too. It is just so hard when all you can do is be there, but she knows you are there for her and she has so many from here with her in spirit.

    Hopefully rads will relieve some pressure and improve her quality of life.

    Not doing well
    Kathy,I'm saddened to hear about Laurissa's condition. My prayers are with her and you. I also agree with you, when "IS" enough! When do the pains and symptoms of this disease on our bodies out-weight the quality of life we want to live? I do not belive in "suffering to the end"! People know what is happening to their bodies and just how much they can take. I don't know what you must be going through watching her getting poorly by the day. There is no right way to "handle this",Kathy. You are doing the best thing just by being there for her. I know she really appreciates whatever you do for her and her family, you are the best that a friend can be,but please take care of yourself,too. It "is" hard to sleep when you are worried about your friend.

    My heart is filled to over-flowing with Love for you and Laurissa right now and may it fill both of your hearts with Love also. "LOVE" makes the world go round. "LOVE" can bear all burdens!

    I’m so sorry about this. My spirit just went from one extreme to the other—so very sadden to learn about Laurissa’s condition. We will continue to pray for her and family. It’s a very difficult time but please know we are here, and always think of both of you. Hang in there. We’re praying for a miracle.

    I have told my family over and over that I want hospice involved when I get to that point. We watched our aunt go out in such a peaceful way at home with hospice. In fact, we visited her a couple of days before her death and she was heavily medicated, but comfortable, at peace and lucid.

    I don't know if the family is interested in hospice, but many times they do amazing work.
