Hello everyone, i just wantd to say thanks to everyone who sent my mom gifts, love, thoughts and prayers! i know that they have brightened up her day but unfortuanelty she passed away on july 13th. I enjoyed reading all the cards that people have sent her and i am very thankful that she had so many people praying for her. i also enjoy reading the post that she has posted on here. it was very hard to see her go since she was so young and i feel like i barley knew her since i am only 21 but they were the best 21 years of my life. she was a great mother and friend. i cant believe how many people she inspired for fighting so hard. she suffered for threee years and it was hard to watch. as much as i hate to say it, i was glad to see her go becuase she wont be in pain anymore. no more tests, no more blood being drawn and no more pricks from needles. i hope this doesnt discourage anyone, i hope it will only make everyone fight even harder. thanks again for everything everyone has ever done for her

    Your Mom's passing
    I am so terribly sorry to hear that your mom passed away. She was a wonderful "virtual" friend to many of us. My own children are 21 and 18. I can only hope they think of me with the sentiment that you have expressed for your mother. I will indeed fight - for them. My condolences to you and your family.

    I am crying so hard in reading this... My heart aches for you and your family at the loss of your Mom.

    Of all of the pink sisters I have to come to know on this site, Meena was by far the bravest, most optimistic, strongest and sweetest I have ever known.

    She would post on here when she felt horrible, but, somehow turn it around to wish everyone a good day and hope that we were all doing well.

    I am so very, very sorry....

    Many many tears for your mom. We were supposed to meet in Philly when I came to visit my family. PCA, Academy Road,cannolis, tastykake at Wawa, so much we wanted to do together. Your mom leaves a legacy of hope and kindness and much more to the rest of here still waving the banners of the fight. She will always be with you and in the hearts of the rest of us.

    I am sorry about your Big Loss.
    I am new to this site - just joined this year - but I remember her posts well. She was one of the people who inspired me from this site. We were all concerned. And we missed her.

    I am very sorry you lost your wonderful Mom. Please accept my condolences.

    Oh I am so very, very sorry......please know how well thought of your mother was to all of us on this board...she was well loved by us...
    It hurts to learn of her death....and I can imagine how hard this is for you and your entire family...I lost my mother at a young age, also...
    Thank you for letting us know....and hopefully knowing, that others care, even though we have never met, will be of some small comfort to you...

    No, not our Meena!
    I am so, so sorry to read this sad news. Yes, your mom was taken way too soon but somehow I know that the 21 years were well spent. She was the definition of inspiration and strength to many of us. She will be deeply missed but definately never forgotten. Be proud of her, she fought a valient fight and I hope she is now at peace.

    We all loved Meena
    I hope you can see from the posts about your Mom, how much she was loved and admired by all of us on this site.

    She was a true warrior, an amazing woman.
