Hi Sunny,
I am cancer-free!! Thank God!! I lost all my hair. But having hair all your life and then losing it is very traumatic. I had the same feelings with chemo knowing that I would lose all my hair. It is tough!! But always look at the positive. Be prepared by having your hats, wigs, scarves, etc,. and make up your face as you feel like to keep yourself in a good place. Remember, After chemo, it will grow back. My hair is growing back, not as fast as I would like but it is better than it used to be. I am wearing wigs, hats, and scarves. It is up to each individual where they are in being confident to let it go. I am now at a place where I will not wear anything on my head sometimes, after going to Camp Bluebird with other survivors. It's Okay to be not Okay sometimes but do not stay there. You are stronger than you think!! thank you for sharing your feelings β£οΈ
