GOOD-BY from HONDO
I have started back into Ministry again and I am praying that God will continue to bless my health as I move forward in doing his will. I will drop by now and then just to check in with you all and say hi, I will also continue to keep all of you my CSN family in my daily prayers. Remember what we are told in Hebrews 11:1 Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things we have not yet seen. I believe strongly in having Faith in my friend Jesus and as Albert Camus once said I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is. My hold life is all about having Faith, Faith that God is in control of my life.
From here I will continue my Ministry, if any of you are interested your can always visit me at www.restoringgodstruth.com and drop me a line now and then.
May the God of our Fathers be with each and every one of you as you continue in your fight against Cancer! Remember the story of King David he use three things to defeat the Giant in his life, Faith, a Sling, and a small little Stone. Together through his life they were the many Victories of his life. Be strong my friends have Faith and just believe with your hold heart
God bless and take care of each of you while in the Masters Workshop.

Hmmm
The concept attributed to Camus is surprising, as he was considered an existentialist and the notion is most often referred to as Paschal's Bet, after Blaise Paschal, who considered it was more rational to believe in a god than not to do so for the reasons you indicate Camus offered.
The most interesting thing about the notion, at least to me, is that it has nothing to do with faith but, rather, "covering the spread". That is not faith, it is not belief, and it is not even as rational as it sounds on the surface. It is laziness in thought.
But that is quibbling. Enjoy yourself.
Take care,
Joe0 -
You will be missed
Please don't stay away too long. You have given support to all of us going through treatment. You have been a wealth of knowledge. I am glad that your health is not the reason for your leaving us. God bless you and your wife in your ministry.0 -
Goodbye
Well, you will be missed. Take care of yourself and hope you will pop back in when you can.0 -

You're the man
Hey Hondo, the board won't be the same without your regular contributions. You've provided ongoing support and inspiration for everyone lucky enough to come into contact with you here. Your even temper, courage, and humor in dealing with yours and others challenges and victories have, for me, exemplified how a true Christian should act.
best, Hal0 -

Farewell
Just like Roger said, I just barely got to know you and now you leave. You were one of the first to welcome me here and that means a lot.
We will all look forward to you "popping in" from time to time.
Take Care and God Bless,

Hi Hondo:
Following your guidance, I found the site and much more information about the side effects of radiation. I'm going for mask preparation tomorrow. Thank you so much for your support. You'll be greatly missed.

I didn't know you but I felt like I did.
May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind always be at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
Until you come back,(To the board)
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.

Words can't express....
Hondo,
I won't say Good-bye, but I will say I'll see you around. Good-bye seems so final. The thing that most of us will miss is that positive attitude that pushes many to keep putting one foot in front of the other on really bad days. The don't give up mindset.
We will miss your daily posts, but we will watch for you when you do decide to pop in and visit to say you are doing well. Life's journey takes us all onto many path's, I am glad that my path crossed your path even if it had to be here.
Be Well. Semper Fidelis0 -

Wishing you well on your Ministry. Glad to have called you friend. Sad that you are leaving and will miss the kindness you brought to our community. Follow your calling, God speed my friend!0 -
I will miss you
You have been an inspiration to me. Even though my Daddy passed away last year, I still come here almost everyday to "check on" everyone else. Sounds kind of strange but, it helps me cope. I hope that God will bless you and your wife as you move forward in the ministry. Thank you Hondo for being a friend.0
