Do you want to know something sisters in pink?
This site has been a life saver for me and for so many of us that I don't what we would do without it. I don't know what we would do without each other!
The bond that we have, the encouragement and support from each and every one you is amazing.
We stand together during the good times and the bad. That has never been more evident than at the recent loss of Heidi and now Moopy.
The outpouring of your words, the flowers, the songs, the wearing of pink, the poems have shown how big our hearts are and how fragile we all are.
We are like a circle of wagons surrounding whoever needs our protection. We applaud and dance when NED is posted. We sometimes only write a few words, but, those words resound a trillion times over to the sister needing to hear them.
You are all amazing and I am so grateful, so thankful to call you my sisters!
So get ready, because I am sending each of you the biggest hug today that I can give!
Love,
Sue

Sue .. you stated my sentiments so beautifully ...
Thank you. What is truly funny is that I can recall a story, heartache or surgery with each and every one of you.
Sue .. do you recall early on in my treatment you posted something about having twice baked potatoes and steaks .. your sister was coming over for a BBQ -- I was dazed and confused, as I did not KNOW that you 'Radiation Goddess' do NOT lose your taste buds, and have the ability to eat, taste and feel all foods. No metallic taste in your mouths .. I was SURPRISED, you could eat, and enjoy the wonderful taste of any food === I was out of my mind with envy!!! Little silly stories -- friendships. Our lives shared, as well as tears and laughter.
I adore and love all of you WARRIORS! We must keep up the Fight, and push forward -- to honor all our fallen ANGELS.
Strength and Courage,

So true. I know whenever I have asked a question on here, I have gotten so many helpful responses and so many hugs and prayers.
Our bond will never will be broken.
We all share our deepest and scariest thoughts and always find this a safe place to land.

Thank you for this Ritzy.
Thank you for this Ritzy. We are definitely a community--one that is now such an important part of my life. A community of unique voices but a community in which all share in protecting, encouraging, strengthening, educating each other--and also grieving with each other. I am proud to be a small part of such an amazing group!0 -

Wow! You have a great memory Vicki Sam! I wish I did!
One of the perks ( if that can be said ) of having rads is that you don't lose your taste. Thank goodness! lol But, there are a couple more. No shaving under my arm and I don't sweat there, so no deodorant needed. ( but, I still put it on out of habit lol )
Our lives are shared and our lives are intertwined with a bond that cannot be broken.
And, that is a good thing!

Thank you for putting this into words and for reminding me that no matter what the question, problem, news (good or bad) is, you have all become an important part of my life, too. Everyone's willingness to share the trials and tribulations of her/his own personal journey has only strengthened me on mine.
Love you all, too.

I came here looking for a place to lay my fears and a place to find someone in the middle of the night even if it was just to post my note. 14 years of survival and I cannot imagine what my life would have been like if it wasn't for the SOUL TOUCH because I have found that can replace the very missed human one if you have had to move from family and all your friends.
We don't win all the time but we do know what it feels like to...
Our sisters will forever be on my team TARA and I suggest we all find a place for them on each and everyone of our teams.
LOVE with much LIGHT

I mean like our encouaging and loving family. I was trying to explain to my husband why I check in every day. Facing what we have all faced creates a strong bond. Some have said that after treatment I should forget about bc and move on. I have a very full life but forgetting is not going to happen. Who knows what the future holds but one thing is for sure....we'll be here to help each other get through the tough times and celebrate the good times. Hugs to all.

so true
What a beautiful message, Ritzy, and oh, so true! This site is so very important to me. I feel it is the only place where I can come and be surrounded by others who are going through what I am. No mundane question or concern of mine is ever too insignificant that it isn't considered important to a sister who is going through the same thing. No doctors or family members can ever understand what it is we deal with on a daily basis, not only the physical issues, but more importantly, the emotional ones. My heart is so full of the love and support that I feel when I am here. Hugs to all, Linda0
