Whew! Good news and THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

I have just brought my Moopy home from the hospital - exhausted physically and mentally, but still cancer free! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
The CT scans were scheduled for Monday morning, but on New Year's Day (Sat. afternoon), Moopy was so fatigued (for whatever reason) that she could hardly stand. So I brought her to the ER, where the doc diagnosed hypoxia. That's how Moopy wound up spending two days in the hospital, basically huffing oxygen and getting her lungs and heart tested... and dreading Monday's tests. I don't know how we ever could have coped without the tidal wave of love and prayers and good vibes that you Kindred Spirits so kindly sent our way. Time after time I read them aloud to Moopy off of my iPad. You can't begin to imagine how you strengthened us through this week from hell.
The CT scans took place today at 9 am. At 6 pm, the hospitalist came in to inform us that Moopy's liver fit the classical profile of "fatty liver." (nice call, Mimi!) No lesions, no masses, no nodules or other nasties. He said it didn't look like any metastatic BC he had ever seen. The only "problem" is that Moopy doesn't exactly fit the profile (alcoholic, and/or diabetic, and/or obese) of a fatty liver sufferer. But we'll leave that for the gastro-intestinal specialist to figure out later this week.
The bottom line is that Moopster is still cancer free, and that we are both grateful beyond words for your support. We are grateful to God and to the Blessed Virgin for the clean scans, but you ladies and gentlemen got us through this ordeal. We have read every post, here and on FB, over and over again. Each and every one of you has our undying gratitude.
Love,
Joe and Moopy

Saw the announcement on fb... Joe I am so happy to read the news! Thank you so much for getting on here and letting us know right away! We are definately celebrating her long glorious dance with NED!!!!! Fatty liver ??? Well, tell her that I said blame the meds... I'm sure my liver has gotten "fatty" just like my middle has ..lol (okay.. my shot at humor...I suck at it)lol but I'm sure you both know what I mean. I do hope that the gastrologist finds that is something simple and easily remedied~!
BIG HUGS all the way around!!!!

so relieved, and like a kid, I feel like running around the playground yelling fatty liver not knowing what it means, but just feeling sheer joy.

what an incredible image you just put in my mind...
I think I shall try that tomorrow...
Aortus and Moopy, from now on instead of saying
