I Lost My Sister Today

After a courageous 17 year battle with bc my baby sister passed away today. She was a true warrior. I'll always remember her warm beautiful smile. I'm sure she was greeted by all the angels and has already made friends with most of them. I grieve for her husband and children who were her wonderful caregivers these last few months. I am glad she is in a better place - no more chemo - scans - or pain.

Rest in peace Kathy. I'll miss you.

    Really sorry to hear about your sister. She battled the beast for 17 years and now she has peace and can rest. She really was a true warrior and I'm sure she was an inspiration to so many. Our hearts go out to you and her family, may you be comforted at this deeply sad time.

    I'm so sorry about Kathy.She has had a rough battle and wish she just could've made it till Christmas. Now she's one of the angels who'll be looking down on you.

    She has but moved....

    from in front of your eyes, into your heart, where she will live on forever!

    (I truly believe this, btw, it's my mantra for the loss of my Steph...and it makes me feel better).

    Oh Skipper I am deeply sorry to hear of the loss of your wonderful sister. I too have lost a sister to the beast almost 3 years to this date, we do miss them but as time goes on we begin to recall the good times and the treasured memories. She is in Heaven and she is free of all pain, I am sure she will be watching over you all until you see her again. I will be sending prayer for you and all of your family, my deepest condolences!
