Here we go again.....
The whole day went exactly the same as my 1st mammo/diagnosis on 2006. Even same number of hours 5 1/2. I had a weird feeling something was up before I even got there too. Weird.
I am wondering how I could even possibly develop a secondary breast cancer while taking tamoxifen? But I shouldn't jump the gun though. Unlike last time, this time there is a decent chance that the area will be benign.
Please say a little prayer, ok? Thank you all. Eileen.
P.s. Boy, there's always something, huh?

Hi Eileen,
The fear between the mammo and final diagnosis is HELL for all of us. Not that the treatments are a piece of cake, but at least we know what we are dealing with and there is a treatment plan. I am so sorry you are going through this fearful period a second time. I'm scheduled for my first follow up mammo on Nov. 30th. Not looking forward to it. Hopefully, your biopsy will be B9 and you can get on with your life once again. Hugs!

More hugs to you
I can't even imagine that heart-stopping moment, but know you've got all the support and love we can send to you as you deal with this.
It's especially hard to focus on a different outcome when the circumstances repeat themselves so eerily. But you've made a great start!
Prayers, hugs, and lots of good thoughts to you and for you

Sending all kinds of
Sending all kinds of positive vibes your way and send a prayer that all will be fine and you will get that great sigh of relief we all wish we could've had the FIRST time around. I wanted to have a double mastectomy but the surgeon talked me out of it. He said there was only a 2% chance I could get it in the 2nd with it not being hereditary. I guess a 2% chance is a chance in and of itself. But heck, there are women that get a recurrence even with a mastectomy, so I guess there's just no sure guard against it. I truly hope you don't have to have a repeat because no one wants to go through it the first time, never mind a 2nd! Please post & let us know the results as soon as you can!
With lots of hugs ~ Mar0 -
Prayers and Hugs
Dear Eileen,
I hope everything ends up okay. It's like that old Tom Petty song, "The Waiting is the Hardest Part." I hate waiting for results. I'm glad he got to do the biopsy right then and there. At least things are moving quickly . . . I'm praying that they're moving right to the Big O.K.!!
I taught in a Quaker school for a long time. The Quakers have this "thing." When someone is going through a tough time, they "hold you in the light." It's a lovely image, I think . . . your friends holding you up to the a place where there is light and peace.
I'm holding you in the light.
Hugs,

Eileen I pray thats what you hear on Monday. Prayer being said as I write. Please let us know as soon as you can.
Oh Eli, just came across your post, and am dumbfounded. I am sending all of my positive thoughts your way, and hope that this is just a precaution they are taking and nothing more. This bc scare is enough to make all of us just want to beat our heads against the wall. Seems like there is never an end, but I am sending good vibrations to you, and hoping for a good prognisis. Let us hear when you have the news, one way or the other. Hugs, Judy0 -

Eileen, I'm so sorry that you have to go through this. The waiting is the worst. I wanted to encourage you that I have had several mammograms where they found suspicious areas and did further testing and everything was fine. Especially having been treated for breast cancer, the doctors do want to be extra careful whenever they find anything that they may consider out of the ordinary.
I'm praying that you'll receive good news on Monday.

Keeping in my thoughts and Prayers!
Eileen, here is a little prayer I thought you may like to have. You will be in my prayers!
Circle me, Lord.
Keep protection near
And danger afar.
Circle me, Lord
Keep hope within.
Keep doubt without.
Circle me, Lord.
Keep light near
And darkness afar.
Circle me, Lord.
Keep peace within.
Keep evil out.
