Post-surgical incisional hernia
I'd like to hear some opinions. I apparently have a hernia of my port incision. My surgery was in January. I called my urologist office and left a message to see if he wanted to see me. I got a call back from "a nurse" and was informed to find a general surgeon. Does it seem odd that the surgeon that did my surgery didn't…

Vaccine trials?
My last psa test was 0.27, down from 0.29. Using nomograns my doubling time is between 106 and 124 months - doesn't qualify me for the "zero club" but good enough to just wait and watch. However, I have come to the conclusion that both hormone treatments and salvage radiation are "blunt instruments" (my urologists phrase…

Update on hubby
Hubby's procedure was 4/27. One of the 5 DaVinci incisions has about a pea-shaped area that won't heal. He has been to doc twice. First time they had him use silver nitrate sticks to 'seal' it and it just kept enlarging the hole. He returned today and they said it is probably just a reaction to the suture material and will…
