First let me apologize if any of you are a telemarketer. I am sorry, BUT, do the rest of you get sick and tired of those stupid phone calls at all hours of the day and night? Don't get me wrong, we don't get lots and lots of them as we have something on our phone line that if they don't reveal their phone number, it…

I am kind of late with this post, considering it is already July, but, are you going or have you gone somewhere already for vacation? Tanning and sipping from an umbrella drink on a beach? Camping on the weekends? Enjoying your own backyard? Finishing up treatment? Going to the local swimming pool to cool off? Planning…

Gabe N Abby Mom Update
I heard from Linda's bff today and she gave me permission to share this information: "Linda is slowly getting weaker and is on more oxygen, and really can't see well enough to get on the internet. Talking on the phone really makes her winded, and she is beginning to need help getting up. She would communicate more if she…

I know I have seen on here before the name of someplace where you can get free wigs. I am inquiring for my sister who's step-daughter is going through chemo again. This young woman (26) has had chemo more than once and would now like to be able to get a wig. She lives in the Indianapolis area. Any suggestions? Hugs, Georgia

All Aboard The Pink Bus For Gavinsgrandma!
Gavinsgrandma, Shary, is having a B/L mastectomy with reconstruction next Thursday, July 18th. I know she'd love to have our support and I think she would even like our silliness. Well, maybe not the mooning out the windows, but, she understands that after being cooped up for awhile on the pink bus, we tend to misbehave.…

Hi all: I;m counting down to my last of 12 weeks of Taxol - 5 more to go, yeah!- and scheduled to start FEC for 4 treatments, 3 week cycles, on April 1. I may or may not get Neulesta shots with it, discussing with my oncologist this week. Any experiences with FEC/FAC? How are the side effects? It doesn;t seem too common;…

Getting Dbl Mastectomy - need info of experiences on surgery and after
It's been on my mind for a while now. I'm not happy with my chances of recurrance even after chemo. Rads can cause heart problems (heart problems are prevalent in my family) and lung problems (which I alrady have a mild problem with now) so I will be skipping rads and getting dbl mastectomy. I discussed it with onco…
