    Meena, I haven't been on this site for awhile, but
    this was definitely not what any of us wanted to hear. Along with all the others, I'm praying with all my heart that your pain is lessened and your situation improves.

    But what good news that your doctor is doing the trial! Will pray that you "meet the criteria", get in on the study and that it works!

    As for the pain, can they give you some kind of cortisone block or something? I know how miserable back pain can be:(

    I am so so sorry!!! 2011 is not being so good to us thus far!!!

    What are you taking for pain?
    I'm experiencing lower back pain, too and they just gave me vicodin and it's great! I had the best day today that I've had in about 2 weeks.
    I'm with all of the above comments. Esp the HATE CANCER one!
    I hope your doctor can get you started on the new meds asap and that they work!

    I am so sorry to hear that you also have had bad news! I hope you get selected for the trial and that the treatment has positive results. I know it's not fun to be in pain all the time.
