Hi, I'm Charlene (61) and live in Coventry, CT (near UCONN). A couple of us have just started talking about meeting, maybe in November. I'm still in treatment so I would have to arrange around that. I don't work (retired/disabled). Let me know what you think...........

    I have a friend who lives in Colchester so I'm familiar with the town, somewhat. Roseann had pm me. Still haven't heard from grandma X3 or Wendybia. Roseann is in Guilford and she says she travels around the state and would be willing to meet wherever. She's on vacation this week. By bumping the post up hopefully we'll hear from the others.

    Hi I'm Cindy (60) I live in Norwalk it is close to NY. I do work at home watching Children. I would like it if we could meet when everyone is up to it. Finished all my treatment but now have to go for pet scan after having cat scan saw some shadows and wants to get to the bottom of it. That will be next Sat.I'm so tired of all the test! Keep in touch. Cindy

    I'll be thinking about you when you get your scan. I had a PET scan after my 1st chemo treatment and all was clear. I kept getting elevated liver function results on blood work so I had an ultrasound of my abdomen and that was clear too. I think when I'm done with chemo I'll be having a CT scan. Chemo #4 is next Tuesday. I still don't know if I'm having #s 5 & 6 or rads. Now that you, Sher, Rosann and I have made contact we'll have to figure out a good meeting place between the 4 of us. If anyone has a suggestion please post it. I know Roseann told me she travels all over the state for her job so maybe when she's back from vacation she'll be able to suggest a good spot. Looking forward to it.

    Thanks everyone for your support and concern I will keep you posted, I don't know how long to get the results from the pet scan. Looking forward to meeting everyone. Good luck with your chemo# 4 your almost finished!

    I recognized your picture. I haven't seen you on the boards recently though. It seems as if 3 of you are New Haven and farther. Sher (Colchester) and I (Coventry) can travel towards your end. Actually New Haven might be a good area. Wendy would you feel comfortable recommending a place where we could meet on a Saturday? I am scheduled for chemo #5 on Nov. 2 and #6 on Nov. 23 so it looks as if I might now be able to meet with all of you until the first week of December. Let me know what works for most of you. I do not work - I've been on disability for 2 1/2 years. Other than chemo I'm flexible. Looking forward to making some tentative plans before winter sets in.

    there's a good italian joint in north haven....belini's they have good food, great pizza...here's their web addy.....www.belinisnorthhaven.com...check it out...not far off highway easy to find...they serve lunch and dinner....i don't work either...economy stole my job....don't worry i've filed a police report...lol

    I'm self employed so with enough notice...
    I can clear my schedule. Sounds like a great place to get together.
