I am only 4 weeks and 2 days out from surgery but I take a 5mg daily dose and every 3 days I do penile injections…. I guess in 3 months or so I will try the 20mg but no side effects of the 5mg for me so far and I have been taking them for about 2 weeks…It sounds like you are getting some action which is good

Update on Cialis - works for me but best results are when I take ibuprofen also. Hmmm...headache this afternoon and my legs were sore today...blamed it on my workout yesterday (which I thought was kind of wimpy) but I did take the 10 mg of Cialis yesterday.
This is a crazy journey, isn't it?

BD - man, I am impressed that you were mobile so soon after the open surgery. I talked to a guy down the street 8 days post-op while walking my dog who had open a few years ago. He was shocked that I was up and about after daVinci. He said he was laid up for weeks with the cath in for 3-4 of those weeks. I guess everything has improved over the last few years.

My surgeon’s papers state that there is little difference if any between open vs robotic process as far as down time and he is one of the authorities on this...From my perspective, it is the skill level of the surgeon plus (and I am sure bias based on his papers) open is a better procedure with less complications and recovery issues…but for me no issues with bladder control from the second the cath was removed…walked 50 miles during the 4th week after surgery and ED therapy is moving along… Anyway bottom line it is the skill level and experience you want not the process in my opinion….

Cialis for me is 5mg every day for over 2 weeks and no side effects yet and does get the blood flowing..plus the injections (which by far produce better erections right now)

At the end of the day what ever works for you to battle this beast...

Zakpaga as I understand the
Zakpaga as I understand the “grading” of erections on a scale of 1-10:

5 is sufficient for vaginal penetration
6 is sufficient for anal penetration

When my urologist gave me my first penile injection he told me I was at 40% and graded me as a 3 (scale of 1-10)

The second time he injected me (he injected me with more bi-mix) he told me that I was at 50% and graded me a 4. He then wrote out a RX and doubled this dose….

I find that when I injected .3cc I get a 5 and I can penetrate and while I am having intercourse my “unit” grows…This is why I am injecting this stuff it is like giving “Willy” a walk in the park and he gets exercise…. If I inject more (which I have) my erections last to long…20-30 minutes is enough with the .3 dosage… I personally have no interest in a grade 8-10 scale erection prior to penetration for an 1-2 hours…I think most women would run screaming if you used it that long…LOL

Anyway all trial and error but it is great news that you are getting blood to your friend 50+ days out on your own… Perhaps you might want to ask your urologist about bi or tri mix to jump start yourself…I personally find it nice that I have been able to have an erection (which btw feels pretty normal) have sex and orgasm since around week 3…
