My Anal Cancer Experience

My treatments ended on Sept 15 of 2022, I had intense butt bone and hip pain until May of 23 about 9 months before I could sit on a firm surface. My dexa scan came back ok, but my hip pain stayed.
I did PT to strengthen my left side and loosen my hips up in April and May, then I went for pelvic floor therapy in june, july,Aug. That helped my urgency issues, but reagravated my hips. I was also back to running so when the pain came back I went to chiro that helped a lot, then I went back for more PT in Aug/Sept/oct. I finally feel closer to able again, I just completed a marathon ( which I'll never do again!) But I still have those deep aches in my butt bone/hip area.
Now I'm working with supplements to address joint and bone health.
This is not fun, but it's kept me alive and I'm cancer free right now.

I would like to let everyone know there is an Anal Cancer Awareness Summit on Facebook or October 21. Found this group by accident and they have been a wealth of information and the Summit seems it will be as well. Check it out if you are on FB

Now I’m confused. I know I registered to attend but not sure if it’s on zoom or FB live. Do you know?

I’m glad I heard from you. I registered and just assumed it was FB live because I know you need to get an invite to Zoom meeting. I’m going to reregister. Thanks.
