    Yes. We now occupy a lovely island in the middle of a lake they call Missouri. We have not been affected at all except we cannot go anywhere without a boat!!!

    Imagine such a new experience at this point in my life!

     Carol I complete get what you are saying, it's amazing to me that one persons energy can completly dominate a group of others. I can think of many parralles given todays state of affairs. I'm really having trouble with this notion of survivorship, I think your post has helped me put things in perspective. As always you are so genuine and true, Thank you for your wisdom. I do so wish that you still lived near me. I am greatful for your friendship.  Love Surf

    Just wanted to stop by and say hello and tell you that you are such a inspiration to me. Have received alot of bad labwork today and have to go in tomorrow for more labs and a ultrasound regarding my only one kidney and issures with my liver. But you know what? I feel ok about all of this. It is not bothering me at all because I am thinking about what you have gone through. Hope your days are filled with sunshine and I already know your heart is filled with love.  You are # 1    Hugs

    It's raining here in paradise. And then we'll probably go into May gray and June gloom. Or maybe not anymore now that the world is topsy-turvy.

    This is where you should be. Hope you are able to get out of bed and enjoy your family. If you are able go on a picnic in the city park and enjoy all the people around you in this beautiful weather before it gets to hot. Children loves to go on picnics.     Doggy looking for raccoon babies. they are so funny. They are at the bitey face stage and argue a lot.  Ahhhh siblings!

    Wanting this to be a good day for you always. I still think the rat-pack thing can work.

    A friend came out from Florida to do a 'pink sister' trip over Mothers Day.  So I went with her to get

    mine done they are doing hiking n Zion and Bryce Canyons so I knew that was out.  The podiatrist from hospice clipped them 6 weeks ago but doesnt file. They were so sharp that I was tired of holy socks and cuts on my feet.  So I got to go to my girl!  She is only $20. and they look and feel lovely.  My sis just was down in Carlsbad for the weekend.... I will admit sometimes I am envious, but not in a bad way.  Just hard when they are all planning

    their summer vacations and I cant join them.  But this was for a memorial for a family friend.  

    The right side of my lower right face is now numb.  On Monday she picked me up for

    lunch with 3 other friends, realized it is like a one year old learning how to use a fork. 3 bites and took the rest home. 45 minutes and had to go.  It was actually funny, they understood so I didn't get too embarrassed.  Enjoyed it for dinner an lunch, and we got haircuts yesterday. I got a pixie she did a great job and no more Donald (combover).  

    Have a great Mothers Day and enjoy May.  Dec and May were usually my favorite times, and August-November for Doheny camping!

    I am sporting a cute pixie.  It was fun getting it done I have been out 3 times in a week, a record!  But it wore me out.  6 hours total and slept or had hospice the rest of the week.
