Darlin', you count!unknown said:Thank you-nice to see all the names
I'm new and still in early treatment, so I don't officially count, but what a wonderful idea to have people sign on just to see their names. It's a hugh boost to me to see survivors.

Does anyone here know EXACTLY what Nancy B., NancyBEE, ect screen name was? When my old computer crashed I lost all the e-mails I had with her! She was from California, around the Bay area. She was UPSC also. Thanks, Debra
and she's not been signed in for a few months. She was trying not to think of cancer so much and had some tough personal issues. Hope they are resolving. Also wondering about Kathy G and Sara Zippora.

Thanks Connie! I had so much data that went with my last computer! It is Nancibee! Now I will try to find her regular e-mail in my paper files!
Hi Kathy! Thanks for stopping by! Debra
I think Kathy G was one of the low grade cancers...hope cancer is in her rear-view mirror! The last I heard from Sara Zippora she was in Israel, I think, and had stopped all treatment(if I remember right!). Thanks again!

Checking in!
Checking in! Still here. List of treatments as long as your arm over the years, which I won't bore you with! But status at the moment is that I'm 14 months out from Cyberknife radiotherapy to the tumour in my pelvis and taking tamoxifen daily. Last MRI scan (Sept 15) showed mass is stable. Feeling pretty good considering everything my poor old body has been through.
Lovely to see everyone checking in.
Kindest wishes

Stage 1a protocol decision-advise & input sought
Hello cohorts~
Let me begin by saying how profoundly grateful I am to have been able to read all your posts and glean your insight and wisdom.
Met with my gynonco Friday. with stage 1a. she left the protocol decision up to me. Hum. Either follow up in 3 months w a PET scan or chemo.
I am pursuing a second opinion. Based on my very brief time on this board, I believe in the collective knowledge and honesty of this band of women.
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Cindy.

Hello Cindy! I'm glad you found us but not under such great circumstance. I was Stage II UPSC so my doctor didn't give me any choice but chemo. I only made it through three chemos but hopefully they killed off any cancer cells still floating around! Good luck on whatever treatment you choose.
Love,
Eldri

Cosaltlife, we had a great discussion on this a while back. Here is a link to that thread:
I had to go way back to 2013 to find it but I knew there are other discussions out there.

Recently Double Whammy (Suzanne) had a good comment on a similar question, and here is that thread:

Never hesitate to get a second opinion. You have to be your own advocate.
