Kay asked me to pass this information on to everyone:
"As you may know I just found that it is probable that I have Mets to my lungs. I most likely will be getting my port back in tomorrow. I hope I can start treatment then to, If not Tues. I will have all the answers tomorrow. Just trying to stay strong and pray."
Please keep Kay in your thoughts & prayers. I will keep in touch with her and let you all know.

Kay said that she is having her treatments closer to home at Cancer Specialists of FL. Moffitt was just too long of a drive for her. She does love her new doctor and he is very optimistic.0 -

I happen to agree with you Carol. I was thinking about how many recently seem to be haivng
troubles, mets, and progression of this awful disease. Thank you to Kay for passing on the info. I will keep everyone in my prayers. Just want everyone to know even tho I may not comment much, I do read and keep all of you in my prayers.

New update
Here is Kay's update after her doctor's visit yesterday. She is a fighter, but still needs our prayers.

Update. Got the results today its cancer in my lungs.. I started chemo today. Not wasting any time. I feel ok today. As treatments go in I will feel better. Breathing will get easier over time with treatment. It is going to be tough but I will fight with every thing I have in me to beat this cancer. And the Dr is asuring that we will put this into remmision. I need all your prayers and well wishes.0 -
