in Breast Cancer #1
And it's the first time I've said this since being diagnosed almost a year ago.

The mammo results are GOOD! I am so relieved and happy. Let me shout it out ....

' I AM A SURVIVOR '

OMG ... I didn't do the ultrasound. I guess I don't want to know at this point what those lumps are. My breast surgeon appointment was canceled today and rescheduled for August 16th. Which happens to be my birthday. I am looking forward to hearing good news then and I want a pink ribbon tied to the report.

Did I mention.....I AM A SURVIVOR?

I did see the pulmonologist on Monday. He says that my breathing issues are secondary to any malignancies. (???) I didn't want to go there. So I am set up for a 2 hour torturous test on August 2nd. My lungs will be filled with irritant to see how they react. BAH! August 6th is the CT Scan.

The way I am looking at things is like this::::Good news comes in 3's. Right? SO, I believe that all of my "issues" will become non issues in the end.

Please share with me this glorious news and smile. I am covering this board with pink confetti. Sorry, I don't clean. I will bring a leaf blower to push it to the edges of the room so we can look at it and smile when we do.

    Congrats Survivor Mary! Excellent news! Did they say anything about what they thought the lumps might be?

    I am wishing you the best of luck with all of your upcoming tests and we'll get the pink bus out again for you.

    Now we just need good news from Pat!

    Mary...I love your "style". ......so happy you got a clean mammo! I'll bring my leaf blower, too...I'd do a cartwheel for you, if only I could...I'd probably break a hip....lol

    Concrats. I was diagnosed last Feb. Went through chemo and radiation. The last radiation treatment was Nov. I was told 3 or 4 mos. ago I'm cancer free. I also have breathing issues. I have COPD. that is no fun. Your Dr. is right breathing issues have nothing to do with any kind of cancer. I was told about COPD 6 years ago. If you have any questions on the subject get a hold of me through I think it is called find a friend. I will look in there. Again congrats on being a survivor. You can ask questions here too.
