Its after 3 in the morning I can't sleep so I'm on here letting you know Laurissa will soon be at piece with our Lord in a much better place. She was so blessed to have you all in her life.All the help,incouragement and prayers you gave her meant so much.I'm praying she doesn't suffer much longer.Please now pray for a quick passing.As this world and life has been so unfair to her.She is the sweetest, kindest person I have ever known,my heart is broken just knowing my baby sister had to go through so much at such a young age.Her birth name is Connie Jean she came into this world with that name and I wanted you to know the beautiful angel that she is and always will be. Laurissa is the mixing of Melissa and Laura, her two wonderful daugthers.She took a piece of each name and came up with Laurissa... But our Heavenly Father knows her by Connie Jean ,and I thought you should as well. Thank you all for your continueing Prayers...I will let you know of her passing,please pray its soon and that she finds peace, Kathy

    I'm new here, so never got to know your sister... but I feel your pain and will pray for you, your family, and your beautiful sister. May she have peace.

    Saying Good Bye to a Friend.
    Connie Jean, What a lovely Name for a Angel. Laurissa, helped me through when I first started my journey. I will never forget how she made this easier for me. I will truly miss seeing her beautiful face on here. She is a warm and caring person. And will make the perfect Angel. My prayers are going up for Laurissa, I will miss you my friend. My sister. God will hold you in his arms soon. No more pain. Goodbye Sweet Connie Jean I will never forget you. And will think of you often with fond thoughts. God will take you home.

    Another angel
    Laurissa and I fought the "Beast" together and it saddens and angers me that she didn't win the struggle. She has been very brave and hopeful throughout.I hope the Lord will take her soon and end her suffering.Her pain is almost over. Connie Jean, have a peaceful passing. I will pray for you and your family.

    Please know how very much we care.....it breaks our hearts to know we're losing another of our precious sisters...to this horrible disease..

    I am humbled by your faithfulness to your sister, Connie Jean. Having done all you could do physically, you are now showing unselfishness and your great love for her to pray for a gentle passing to the arms of God. My heart and prayers are with you and the entire family.

    Kathy, it is so sad that we are losing another precious sister and way too soon. I do hope that her suffering comes to an end and she can begin the next journey. We began this journey together and I never really knew how much we have in common.....her birth name is Connie Jean and mine is Deborah Jean.

    I am keeping you, her precious sister and caretaker, along with her family in my prayers and hoping that your memories can help in getting you through the pain of losing her. She is a beautiful lady and I will always remember her, too.

My heart breaks for her and you, her daughters, her husband, family and friends. I know life isn't fair and nothing should be assumed or taken for granted, but I just can't help getting upset and angry at how horribly unfair life is sometimes.

    I am so sorry to hear this but I pray for an easy passing and that she will soon be at peace. Also for you and her 2 daughters, I send my love and prayers.

    Tears are rolling down my cheeks as I read your post Kathy. I had been praying for a miracle to happen so that Laurissa would improve.

    We all know that Laurissa's struggle has been hard. It always seemed like she just couldn't catch a break from cancer. Yet, she kept fighting as hard as she could.

    I pray that when she goes to our Lord that it is peaceful. I know she will be surrounded by the love of her family. Thank you Kathy for keeping us updated.

    We love you Connie Jean and will keep you always in our ♥'s.

    I am so saddened to hear this news. You have been such a wonderful sister and friend to Connie Jean. She knows how much you love her and I am positive that she loves you just as much.

    Laurissa has always been very supportive, kind, and caring. I pray that God will give her comfort and peace. I pray that God wraps his arms around you and your family and gives you all peace and comfort.

    I think she will always be
    I think she will always be Laurissa to me. I will keep her in my prayers that her passing will be gentle and peaceful. She truly is an angel to us all.

    Kathy thank you for sharing about your sweet sister Laurissa. Laurissa and I started our journey at the same time and I've always felt a special place in my heart for her. We are all so blessed to have her in our lives in so many ways. I continue to pray for her and that the peace of the Lord will be with her.
