Glad to hear from you. Don't like what I heard but honestly know that as hard as putting 'affairs in order' go, for me their was also a sense of releif that my kids would not have to make these difficult decisions. I pray that your onco can find a chemo cocktail that will penetrate these horrible tumors. When I went to Johns Hopkins I was told 25k to start in case my insurance wouldnt agree. My insurance rejected...... so we are doing everything that we can. Still have to hope that one of these combo's will slow it down until they can find something like AIDS research to turn this disease from terminal to a chronic condition... I too just can't give up.

I am praying that your onc.can find some thing new you can try or find a clinical trial for you.So happy you got to go on vacation with your kids when you still could.I would say never give up hope but there comes a time when we are so tired of being sick and we just say enough is enough that we just need some peace to live out the rest of our lives how ever long that will be.Strength,Courage and Love to do what you have to do.

This board and all of its Kindred Spirits have given me so much and it would be impossible to give it back in one lifetime. I'm still fighting, but this chemo is making me really sick, and it's not working, but then, just because my bone tumors are multiplying doesn't mean the chemo isn't keeping the cancer out of a vital organ, I guess we never know....anyhow, thank you so so so so so much for all your prayers!!
