Laurissa is home

in Breast Cancer #1
Laurissa got to come home from the hospital on Christmas Eve,she was with her family and even came for a few hours to my daughter Lisa's home Dec.26th for a family dinner...she is tired. She had to have 10 days of antibiotics when she left hospital...A home health care nurse stopped by to check on her and take blood. Today is her last day for antibiotics she goes back to the Dr.office Wednesday to see if she can start chemo again ??? Hopefully all bloodwork and tests say its OK...She's tired and weak, spends alot of time resting.Sorry I haven't been on here in awhile,I'm trying to fight a bug of my own...flu I think. I just what to be ok so i can help Laurissa.She wanted me to tell you all she is thinking of you and praying for you too! as she knows you are for her. I'm hopeing everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and let us all pray that 2012 brings us better health and some Happiness in the New Year. I will keep you posted on how laurissa is doing, and hopeing she soon feels like getting on here to post an update herself. God Bless and Best Wishes, Kathy

I know this has been so difficult for all of you~ bless your heart for being so diligent about keeping us in the loop. You are the best sister ever, and we are blessed to know that Laurissa has you in her life and heart. Please continue to take care of yourself!!!!!

    It was a true holiday gift to hear Laurissa was able to go home and be with her family on Christmas Eve. Kathy you are a very dear friend and what a loving gesture to invite Laurissa to come join you and your family at your table this Christmas. I am sure it did her heart good to be surrounded by loving friends who care deeply for her. May God bless your family,Laurissa, and her family abundantly this New Year.

    Thank you for the news. I happy to see that Laurissa is with family at home. Hopefully doctor will give her a break from Chemo, just one week will help her to gain some strength .

    THANKFUL...
    So thankful Laurissa was able to come home on Christmas Eve....what a wonderful gift for her and the family! And Kathy take good care of yourself, too.....give Laurissa our love and tell her we miss her and continue to pray for her..

    So happy Laurissa got home! She is very lucky to have such a wonderful sister - you take care of yourself and feel better! Keeping Laurissa always in my prayers.

    I am glad to hear that Laurissa was able to be home for the holidays. And to be able to have dinner out with family is great. I will continue to keep her in my thoughts.
