Djinnie sending peaceful and restful vibes your way. - BDS
Thank you for the update, Jojo. I hope they can drain the lymph and stop it from leaking. No wonder she developed heart issues. But it sounds like they're really on the ball there and on top of things. That's very reassuring.

Leaking?
Was Djinnie leaking lymphatic fluid?

Thanks JojoJojo61 said:I have heard a little more
I have heard a little more from Djinnie. A complication is that her lymph is leaking fluid into her heart. Yesterday they were taking her and drawing the fluid from her heart. I guess it has been causing her blood pressure to spike, and occasionally she would faint. Who knew that a lymph could complicate your health so much? I haven't heard from her since. But her internet access is very sporadic. I will post as soon as I hear.
Hugs
Jojo
For keeping us informed. Leaking fluid into the heart sounds less than ideal. If you can pass on some good wishes please do.

Wonderful, beautiful news. Keep it coming Djinnie and Jo. So happy. . .
Hi again....
I haven't heard any further from Djinnie but that could mean anything!
And yes, her lymph is leaking into her heart, causing problems (such as blood pressure spiking and passing out as a result).
She did hope to go home this past weekend. I know we are all hoping she did!
EDIT:
I heard from Djinnie today. She is doing very well and is excited because she is going home today! Her daughter is arriving tomorrow. She is in very good spirits and asked me to say hello to everyone here for her. She sounds very happy!
Hugs

Just reading your responses warms my heart.
I have received another email from Djinnie. I know she won't mind me sharing this. She is so inspirational, I don't want you to miss out on this message:
"Hi Jojo,I am glad to be home at last, obviously I am not in good shape I understand all of that, the meds make me shake badly and I lack coordination. I find if I take a sleep after the morning morphine it stops a lot of the shivering etc. I know I am in last stage but without so much pain I can cope so much better. As my husband says we will take it a day at a time every day will offer something different. I am working hard on my spiritual side and have incorporated that in my fight to get better. My big concern is that I have boosted my family in such a way that, I may cause disappointment in failure. However! My husband and friends assure me that from here on in I can only look at the final result as a win, win situation. I intend to enjoy every moment I have left, to love and be loved by family and friends, who I wish to hold close:)I have a wonderful husband a beautiful daughter and the most amazing loving family and friends, what more could I want in life. I will fight for as long as it takes, nothing is defined in marble.I am grateful to hear of the loving support from those on CSN, if there is anything you feel may be of help to others on there suffering please feel free to use it. I will be resting for a little while before I write, I hope they understand for now. I wish everyone all the best and advise them to always stay courageous."God bless our sweet Djinnie!HugsJojo0 -

JoJo and all:
this forum is definitely a family and staying connected with DJ through you is a spiritual thing.
reading DJ's email (between the lines), she has reached a serene acceptance of what may come.
never, when I first signed up here, did I anticipate the bonds we share and I agree that YOU are a major player.
Thank you, Jojo

Yes, I too had a wonderful message from DJ today, very early. In my emaill, I old her not to respond, but to save her energy, yet she did.
STILL as lovely, generous, giving her kindness and care to all. She is grateful for all of us on this site. She is hoping to get on one day... but it is now hard for her.
To me, she is resigned and making the most of each moment she has. Seems she has only a window of time to correspond as once her meds kick in she's out for awhile.
As the Tim McGraw song says, we should all live like we are dying~
Hugs to you all!!!
