Why?
Today I lost my husband, my best friend, and my lover.
Our battle began just last year when he nearly left us then
He just turned 48 on Monday.
Happy Birthday baby, I love you.
I feel so empty or numb.
I try to keep face for our children (aged 15, 13 and 3).
It's hard.
I pray for all you going battling this beast.
May your higher power hear your prayers.

So sorry
I am so sorry for your loss. I see you are new here and you will find support from all. Could you elaborate a little more on what type of Lymphoma your husband had? There are so many different types. How long did he have it? What was the classification? etc.,etc. Our prayers are with you. John0 -

hi john i thank you all for your kind words.
This is day two the weight on my chest isnt as heavy.
my husbands name is dwight
we have been together for sixteen years
About two years ago he was told he had NHL
We were in shocked and both figured if we didnt talk about it it would go away
I didnt even know whagt stage it was i was too afraid to ask
We went threw chemo treatments last year ending dec 10'
We thought we made it then in april more lumps showed up
Doc suggested aggressive treatment so that began immediately
His last treatment ended aug 3 he roughed it out til he finally had enough on aug 27
I love my husband with all my heart
He'll be buried soon and i'm not sure i'm ready for that
Any suggestions advice... Would be appreciated0 -
Your Loss
Hi C4nd1s
I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your husband. He was so young. My heart aches for you and your children.
I cannot answer your "why" question. I only know that what you are going through is very hard.
I pray that friends and family will wrap their arms around you and your children during this very difficult time.

KateNTx and c4and1s,
I'm sorry both of you are having to experience
this part of life now. I thought I'd introduce you
two as you are both in similar situations.
Hugs...
