    Beautiful British Columbia, Canada is where I moved six months prior to my diagnosis. I feel like I won the lottery since there is a 28% better success rate for treating all cancers than the rest of my Canadian provinces and most states.
    I moved here for a relationship and for the months of flowers and green instead of all the winter months I lived through in Alberta.
    Great thread always nice to learn about the sisters on this site.

    Hi everyone!!
    I am also not on here too often but it's great to see the "oldies" and also sad to see so many newbies. But, this is an amazing group of kindred spirits and you can get your questions answered, rant or just meet some wonderful ladies and a couple of men, too.

    I am originally from Michigan but have lived in northeast Florida for many years. I love it here!

    P.S. VickiSam, I was also born on a Marine Corps base in Cherry Point, NC.

    ~ Technically Tacoma, Washington~ I am in a little "Bedroom Community" called Fircrest~ within the city limits of Tacoma.
    Born here~raised in Gig Harbor tho~ just across the Narrows Bridge.

    Home of the Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers. Actually I live about a half hour north of Green Bay. At least I had a pleasant distraction to take my mind off my cancer for a bit.

    I am from central CA. I lived in Nevada for a while and moved back, I missed the ocean and nice weather (not too hot or too cold).

    I've lived in Westchester County most of my life. I grew up in North Tarrytown,NY home of The Headless Horseman and Icobod Crane. I now live a few miles North of that in Ossining, home of Sing Sing Prison. Cathy

    Hi Kim mom of three, actually my mom's whole family is in the Martinsville, Roxbury and Sauk City area (big German Family), and I was born in Madison and went back for a couple of years to go to school at the UW, but was way to cold for me!

    I am a Michigander from the west side of the state. As a former military wife I lived in Oklahoma (6 weeks), Leesville Louisianna (3 years), Lang Gons, Germany (2 1/2 yrs), and Seaside Ca (3 yrs). Each of my 4 kids are born in a different place. I hope to live the rest of my life in the Mitten shaped state.
