heartbroken
I'm sorry for posting another sad news. I haven't been on this board for a while because we just went through really really difficult time. My dear husband passed away on March 26 at age 47. He fought the disease so hard and held on the hope all the time even in the last few days. I still cannot believe he has left me alone here. I miss him so much, every day, every hour, every minute. I would trade him back with anything... I feel so sorry for recent bad news for friends and their family here who is having hard time. It just breaks my heart. The damned disease.

Do not feel bad for posting this
I am so sorry to hear your news. However do not feel bad for posting it here. All of us who live with cancer, live with our own mortality staring us straight in the face and we cannot live denying its reality. Your loss reminds us all the more to fight this damn thing and to enjoy all the time we are here. It also enphasises the need to enjoy the time with those we love and who fight this together with us.
My thoughts are with you.

Hi Lucy
Hi Lucy,
I'm so sorry to hear of your husband's passing- please accept my condolences.
I'm glad you joined this board- we are a very supportive group here, you will find.
Please don't feel like you have to apologize for "bringing more bad news"- by any means. Although it is sometimes hard to hear sad news, we are here for the good and the bad & we want to be here for you when you need it.
I am living with cancer & was diagnosed back in August of 2007. It has, unfortunately, become just part of my life- going for chemo every other week is just something I do- I don't think about it quite like I did at first.
Your life is now quite changed, as you obviously already know- I do hope that you have a supportive group of friends and family to help you out when you need help or support. If not, come on here as often as you want.
I will be thinking of you (and praying for you, if that's okay with you) as you go through this very difficult time.
Take care & hugs to you-
