Its up there, hun. About the third post or so. It's the English translation of my Italian last name. My great grandfather came here from Sicily. 22 is my favorite number.
Sorry Sweetblood22,
Right after I posted my question, I saw you had put where you got your name from!!!0 -

Did Patrick ever work for Safway Scaffold? We have an office in Flushin and one on Kennilworth NJ??
I run the operation here in St.louis.I put Patrick on a prayer chain with my Ironworkers, Carpenters, Laborers and Boilermaker Locals.
I hope you are doing OK. Good to see you on the site. We all care about you.
Best!!!
Mike
I didn't catch all the contractors he worked for, I know the last one was Peterson/Goedeke (sp??) out of St. Louis. Do know of quite a few timbermen that have worked for Safeway, one currently I think.
I'm still around I lurk a bit, all I can offer is cheerleading abilities and a little of experience based wisdom (not much at that!)
Doing alright - still think he's going to walk thru my front door and b!tch about work. But I'm making it. One foot in front of the other.
Thanks Mike,

Same as a few of the others, I use my real name and added my age to it.
First and middle name and year I was born, like the rest of you I needed something I'd remember!0 -
FORUM NAME
My picture and the name LUV4LACROSSE do not go hand in hand. Here I am posing with my son at his last Highschool Varsity Hockey Game and call my self LUV4LACROSSE. When I originally signed up for the post, my son was playing on a select traveling Lacrosse Team, and the day I signed on, he scored 5 goals in the game he was playing, so thus the LUV4LACROSSE.

Strangely Enough
I didn't use my normal screen name for on-line transactions, as I thought it was a bit too negative for this forum. I'm VenomousWife on Ravelry and Flickr. It's a play on my husband's old UO character. GraceLibby is my first and middle name.0 -

Yes I am very famillar with Peterson / Goedecke. I have been in the scaffold business 23 years and we are a close knot family. You and Patrick are on a few prayer chains originating through the various BA's I have relationships with.
I think about you often as I am 46, not much older than Patrick and was rooting him on each and every day until he passed.
I am glad to hear you are doing alright, or as well as the circumstances allow.
IF YOU EVER NEED TO VENT, PM ME.
BEST!!

This is too funny.
Mine is short for Hawkeye, which is my college mascot, Iowa. The 711 is my birthday, lucky 7-11 as I always say.

about changing forum name. I changed my picture. That is me on a cutting horse - no idea if this will help or not. Couldn't you guys have thought I was a surgeon or something? LOL
We have had so much fun with your name, please don't change it. Wish I could've thought of something funny. It's interesting reading what some people thought it meant! Funny!! Take care! Carole0 -

name from Golden Retriever
All Golden Retrievers have the "perfect" attitude. They will try to be happy under all circumstances. So I want to adopt that attitude and try to make the best of things.0 -

Topping this because it was a fun thread, we have newbies, and I am in need of levity.
Edit: giving this another bump.
AND FOR RATFACE, I don't see you on here?? Maybe I missed it.0 -

and I'm happy to say he didn't choose his name because of how he looked after HEENT surgery. That would be me instead....0 -
Name on Behind...Greg53 said:Mine is complicated
My actual name is Fred, but I wanted something easy to remember and I see Greg53 all the time since it is tattooed on my wife's behind.............ok,ok, I'm un-original also, it's my name and age at diagnosis. Easy to remember and I joined post-treatment so I blame my unoriginality on chemo-brain.
Greg
LOL, Greg, you knew I had to respond....
When I was in the USMC, I knew a guy that would win bets all of the time for free drinks. He would bet someone that he had their name tatooed on his butt. His exact wording was key though, "I bet you a beer that I have your name tatooed on my azz".
They'd usually bet him for a beer...sure enough, he'd lower his drawers enough to expose his tattoo....YOUR NAME would be glowing back at them....
Best,

ahhhh some guy trying to get my attention in another time another life, called me that, he said, and if you can believe someone who has been drinking, that it meant northern beauty. Anywho, I've used it for screen name as everything with Linda has or had been taken. The best name however is what my grandaughter calls me "grammie ahe".

I chose this name because we live in Olympia, and b-e-e are the first letters of our last name. It just kind of flowed from there.
I LOVED reading everyone's reasons, though. Thanks for bumping it up so we could learn a little more about everyone0
