Asking for Your Prayers
Anyway, if you will send us good thoughts and prayers, it would comfort me and Joe. November 23 was my second year out from surgery, so we thought we were on the down side of risk.
Thank you all. I am sorry if I am not coherent. Just waiting for calls and trying to keep calm. Chen and Heidi and Meena, and all of you who have been fighting mets, I admire you even more. I'm just trying not to lose my mind with fear. I will post when I have news. Just waiting for the phone to ring and praying.

So sorry
Moopy and Joe,
I'm sending you courage, confidence and best wishes that the news will at least be something you can handle, and hopefully the possible bad news won't materialize. The stress and worry just isn't fair!! Prayers and good wishes to you.
I love to read comments from both of you; you're on my list of faves.

So Grateful
You all give ease to my heart and mind, and Joe's,too. I read some posts to Joe, who made it to the next flight back! The airline personnel were very kind, he said. If no freezing rain in Chicago, he will be here by 9 tonight.
The nurse for my oncologist in St. Louis called to say that the liver enzyme results and the MRI report are on her desk; she will see them first thing in the AM. My oncologist here has not called back yet. All this is a shock because the MRI last Wednesday was routine, to check on a benign pancreatic cyst. No one expected anything. I was told I'd get a call soon if there were any concerns. (That's why Joe felt comfortable flying up to see his dad.) A week later, the call comes.
So many dark hours and moments and days within the last 2 years, and the women of this board gave us light and hope and courage without fail or question. I am sorry if I failed any of you. I will report any news that I get. In the meantime, please know that I am reading your messages, and drawing hope and comfort.0 -

Hi
Hi Moopy. I know you don't recognize me, I don't post here often.. mainly on the uterine and ovarian boards. I just wanted to say that I think you are amazing and your post is remarkably fluid and coherent considering how nerve wracking the waiting game is. If it were me, I'd be curled up in the fetal position. It's a testament to your inner strength that you are able to come on here and post and share with your Cyber sisters. You have my prayers and well wishes and a great big Cyber Hug. I don't know anything about liver enzymes.. but couldn't there be other reasons they are elevated? Hang in there, Hugs, Cindy0 -
Dear Moopy, you've always
Dear Moopy, you've always inspired strength and courage in me and we have come to know each other well. I love you like family! I know you have the strength to do battle again even though you may not know it now. I send you love, hugs, prayers and a deep burning desire to see you healthy again. I just want to wrap my arms around you and make it all go away...

From 5600 miles away....or 3,000, or whatever...
Prayers are going up, dear soul!!!!!!!!
I am wrapping my arms around you...and, if there is ANYTHING I can do, just give a shout!!!
BIG hugs, Kathi
(I must admit, my first response when I read your first words was to say a few nasty words...)0
