I live in Logan, UT and I'm originally from Maryland.
You are the first in an area that has been void, LOL. There's been a few discussions on why we don't have anyone listed in the large central western area of the US.
Best,

Welcome to the wacky world of our forum Goalie....
You've scored in a wonderful ice palace of knowledge, experience and caring people... Some like myself have developed a little wacked humor, so just a small forewarning on that...
Start a new member topic and tell us about yourself. There are always the best people on here willing to listen, vent, and share our experience, knowledge and un-professional opinions, LOL.

San Rafael. 5 minutes from Marin Cancer Institute and California Cancer Care. 10 minutes from Muir Woods. 20 minutes from the beach. Beautiful views of Mt. Tamalpais from the chemo room. I almost look forward to it. Well....0 -

Sorry for your second time around....
My sister is going through a very similar situation as you right now with the two areas of concern. She has had surgery and starts chemo very soon.
I love the area you are in now, Raleigh area can be especially pretty during certain times of the year. I've spent a little time around the college UNC and local eateries. Players Retreat, old hole in the wall with great Reuben Sandwiches, and Two Guys which has the best Baked Manicotti.
BigFuzzyDoug lives the closest to you, he lives in Lake Norman, NC.
Best,
John

For such a young lady you have been through SO much .. this site is full of great people with experience, wisdom, sense of humor & spot-on "been there, done that" advice.0 -

I'm in Troy, Michigan. I live about 20 miles north of downtown Detroit. I've lived in SE Michigan my whole life.
Both my grown children live in the Troy area. Actually one live in Milford, works in Troy. The other lives in South Lyon, just outside of Milford. I lived in Milford, Mich for years. My kids were born there. When I go down to visit the kids I stay at one of the hotels in Troy, as its about the closest place to stay. Nothing much in Novi, at least not anything that I wanted to stay at. When I go down my granddaughter stays with me to go swimming and enjoy the other things the hotels have to offer. So, we are close. Where are you going for treatments?0 -
