    i live in upstate new york also about 25 minutes from the canadian boarder and i agree with the wood on the fire it feels good comforting somehow with all that is happening

    Internal temps are fluctuating!!
    I am peri~menopausal so my temp keeps me hot and cold! Anyone relate?? LOL!

    It's a Heat Wave in Utah
    We're in the 30's this week - a regular heat wave compared to what we have had for the past little while! There is snow on the ground - but the air is kind of stagnant - so we could use a storm to blow out all the smog!

    I went even one step further....It was snowing, and the wind was blowing it sideways(!), but still, as you can see from my new pic, I was skating on the canal out in front of the house!!!

    Sure, I had on thermal underwear, and 2 pairs of thick socks...and a sweater and a ski jacket...but it was sooooooo much fun!!!!!! Oh, and a thick pair of gloves, and a hat and muffler...(makes going to the bathroom an hour-long experience...lol!).

    2 hours south of Tampa Fl and it is going down into the high 20s tonight.
