Hi and Welcome
Hey Sue! Welcome to the boards. I am glad that you found us, though sorry it is because of bc. There are lots here that have gone thru radiation and will help you, including me. Did you have a lumpectomy or a mastectomy? Post and let us know how your first day goes.

Welcome~ it sounds as you
Welcome~ it sounds as you are indeed ready for the next phase of Beast Slaying~ more power to you! Most of us end up really connecting where we get our rads; the techs etc are really attentive, and being as we see them everyday , well it's nice to see friendly faces!
Good luck tomorrow~ keep us posted!
Hugs,

Sue, glad you found us. You will get a lot of support and encouragement here! Rads are totally doable. I am glad that you are not afraid at all because you shouldn't be. Just use the creams they give you from the start and get lots of rest and protect your skin. Be gentle with it. Most of us absolutely loved our techs and rads oncologist. Sounds like you will too. You could even post a diary of it on here to inform others.

Thanks for you replies. I had a lumpectomy Susie. I will let you know how my radiation treatment goes tomorrow. Perhaps I might do a diary on here like was suggested. Thanks again.
