Got results today from my oncologist......GOOD news!!!!
Went to my oncologist today for results.... she said we will do an MRI to determine exactly what it IS, but for certain is that it is NOT cancer!!!! DANCING!!! (She thinks it may be an untreated shoulder injury, and this lump is a sort of pillow my body created to shield the injury)..... BIG hugs to all!!!, Kathi

Tierd an weak ?
My dad has so far had 3 rounds of chemo - oxy and raltitrexed . As I mentioned he has the appetite issues but is also very tierd and weak . Should we be concerned ? How much is a cea supposed to drop initially on chemo? Can this happen where it drops 1 round and goes back up? My dad's cea was 65 befor chemo , 80 after round 1 and 55 after round 2. But I'm wondering if this 1 drop really means anything ?especially as previous irinitecan had not worked .

Diagnosed in mid may, have completed 28 rounds of rad treatments along with 3000mg xeloda at same time. Just waiting now for evauluation for surgery. My tumor is in lower rectum(stage 3).
