Off topic; I need ideas
Help. I am signed up to cater my sons pre football game meal. I need to feed about 60 hungry boys. I thought I would just have it catered by the lodal barbeque place but it was going to be about $900.00 (13.95 per kid). The coach likes the meal about 3 hours before the game so we are looking at about 11:30 A.m. this…

I was diagnosed in May 2012 and had radical mastectomy on right breast and complete lymph node removal underarm (9 nodes were cancerous). Chemo before and after…

Freaking out because even though 7 years cancer free, I keep thinking I have cancer hiding somewhere
Hi. My name is lori. I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer stage 3 in 2006. I had chemo, bilateral mastecomy, and reconstructive surgery. I was told that I was cancer free in Jan. 2007 but since I had cancer at age 36 with no family history and since it was such an aggressive cancer that I could expect to get…

Lung Update (by New Flower's Request)
Unfortunately I don't have the best of news. I continue to have pain, which I guess is normal for a thoracotomy for 6-12 months after surgery. I have seen the 2 different PA's now and the surgeon recently. I told the first PA (the full of himself idiot that didn't know he shouldn't be wearing so much cologne when he enters…

Insurance issue
My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer almost a year ago. Went thru a double mastectomy, chemo, and now is halfway thru radiation. The breast surgeon we chose is out of our network. And we knew this going forward (our out-of-network copays are 30%). The wife went thru the Sentinel Biopsy procedure on 1/4/13 and the…

BMX went well, but drains in after 18 days
I am 18 days post op. Incision still tender, but not bad. Drains are still in. PS said I could get them out when less than 10 ml per drain per day. I am still getting avg 25 per day. Any one else have this issue? I see PS again this Thurs and I really want them OUT, but I feel like I'm not healing inside. Sandy

MRI and a wedding...
My liver MRI is not normal (still numerous lesions), but it offers hope in that there is now no adenopathy (that was there before) and radiologist is unsure if these are active or residual lesions. Suggests PET to check. Since I am doing so well (my markers are normal, my labs are normal and I am feeling stronger), I think…

Don't know what to do or think..
So around a month and a half ago I found a lump in my right breast at 12 O'clock position. So many emotions are going through my head and I…

OT Vein procedures
Has anyone had procedures for varicose veins.Mine are pretty bad but since BC I have problems wanting to do this.I didnt ask my doctor.I think they might feel no problems but honestly it's chemical injected in your veins. PET Scan
I knew I wouldn't get away with no PET scan after that iffy MRI. My other onc insists upon a PET. I am ok with it as, in some ways, I would rather it now than next year, because of expense. I certainly have met all deductibles and out of pockets for this year...lol. Anyway, say a little prayer, send good thoughts, order…
