Hello out there. I've been doing as much research as possible for my mom. Does anyone know of a strong pain medication that will not screw up her liver? I heard something recently got passed but it's not available yet. Any and all comments/info is appreciated. Thanks.

Femara... Five More Year
Last week was the day I have been waiting for. The 5 years of Femara was supposed to come to an end. I stuck it out when so many I knew gave up due to the pain from this pill and then I had my visit with my Oncologist last week and he gave me the bad news. Due to more studies etc., he suggests that I stay on Femara for 5…

The following was developed as a mental age assessment by the School of Psychiatry at Harvard University. Take your time and see if you can read each line aloud without a mistake. The average person over 40 years of age cannot do it! 1. This is this cat. 2. This is is cat. 3. This is how cat. 4. This is to cat. 5. This is…

Pain meds?
What do you use for pain management? I have tried numerous things but they all make me sick to my stomach. I've even gone down to the lowest pain patch and threw up! I just wondered if anyone else has such a sensitive stomach.

Got phishing message seeking money, beware
Hello Ladies. I got an email message saying I had a personal message here on the CSN. When I opened it, it was a letter begging for money and clearly a deliberate attempt at fraud. It was signed from a Helen Bones. Where can I report this. Wanted to let all know about this. Who does this kind of stuff on a site like this?

Off topic; I need ideas
Help. I am signed up to cater my sons pre football game meal. I need to feed about 60 hungry boys. I thought I would just have it catered by the lodal barbeque place but it was going to be about $900.00 (13.95 per kid). The coach likes the meal about 3 hours before the game so we are looking at about 11:30 A.m. this…

Hi. My name is lori. I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer stage 3 in 2006. I had chemo, bilateral mastecomy, and reconstructive surgery. I was told that I was cancer free in Jan. 2007 but since I had cancer at age 36 with no family history and since it was such an aggressive cancer that I could expect to get…

I have seen the 2 different PA's now and the surgeon recently. I told the first PA (the full of himself idiot that didn't know he shouldn't be wearing so much cologne when he enters…

Insurance issue
My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer almost a year ago. Went thru a double mastectomy, chemo, and now is halfway thru radiation. The breast surgeon we chose is out of our network. And we knew this going forward (our out-of-network copays are 30%). The wife went thru the Sentinel Biopsy procedure on 1/4/13 and the…
