memory loss
I need to know if anyone has experienced memory loss after having radiation treatments. This loss seems to be ongoing and both long and short term. Also loss of appetite and fatigue and a sense of being overwhelmed. The doctors say it is not connected to the radiation, but I think it might be. Please help.

When I went in 3 weeks ago for the Pap, my doc asked me if I was wearing my good-luck T-shirt. Darn, I forgot it! But I guess I…

So Scared
Hi all--got a pap back a few weeks ago showing severe dyspalsia with some cells suspicious for carcinoma in situ--I go for the biopsy on March 25th. My question is is the Pap a good indicator for what you actually have--or is there a good chance it could be worse when I get the biopsy results back? Thanks so much!

All at once.....
Hi. I'm 18 years old and a college freshman. I just found out that I have cervical cancer. I'm really scared. I try to stay healthy and all, I eat right and exercise, I figured I'd be the last person on Earth to get cancer. The worst part of this, though, is that I don't have anyone to talk to. My parents are going through…

Catheterization
I am 32 years old and I had a radical hysterectomy (kept my ovaries) in November of 2001 and I have been cancer free for almost a year and a half. I was told that I would have to use a catheter for about two weeks after my surgery until my bladder started functioning again after it had been tacked. Well, it has been almost…

Just need to talk
I've been a registered user since October 2003 when I was first diagnosed, but I always just visit the site, look around for a few minutes, and then I leave because I feel out of place. I don't really think of myself as a "survivor". I don't feel like I've survived anything. I feel like I'm living outside of my old self.…
