i was 41 when i was diagnosed with breast cancer i am now 42. how old was everone when you were diagnosed and how many years has it been. i was diagnosed april 2009

    I was diagnosed July 2009.I was 52yrs. old the same age my mother had Cancer.

    I was diagnosed July 2009 and was 55. I'm the first one in my family to have bc, both my father's and mother's side. I also hope I'm the last, I have a sister and daughter, I hope they can be spared.

    I was 46 and dx on Oct, 14th 2009. I will be turning 47 next Monday.

    55, (routine) mammo 10/28/09; biopsy 11/12/09; surgery 12/7/09 - two days before my 56th b'day. 2/3 thru rads.

    I was diagnosed in August 2009 at the age of 57 with a routine mammogram.

    Knee Problems
    I had a cartlige defect 12/12/09 in my knee and my Ortho Md told me I was so old for treatment in Ortho terms. When I was diagnosed with BC 12/17/2009 I was told I was young at age 49. Go figure.

    I was 66 yr old
    and dx in July 09. Actually every one knew by the ultra-sound in June 09.

    47- the day before my 48 th birthday. (November of 2009).I start chemo tomorrow.

    Diagnosed at 47 almost 48
    Was dx in August 2009 less than 1 month before my 48th Birthday. I had SN biopsy and port-a-cath installed on my birthday as a matter of fact. Nodes came back negative. What a B-day present!

    I was dx by annual mammo in Aug, 2000 and had mastectomy and Tram Flap Reconstruction on Sept. 11,2000. I am now 58 and will be cancer free for 10 years in Sept.. HUGS!!! Cathy

    I was disgnosed August 2009
    I was diagnosed August 2009 with breast cancer with liver mets. I was 39 at the time.

    Diagnosed January
    I was diagnosed January 2010, found a lump in right breast before Thanksgiving 09, I am/was 42 and had a double mastectomy on Jan 29.

    I was diagnosed in June 09; I was 47. I had my mastectomy 3 days before my 48th birthday. I'm 48 now but feel like 88! Talk about chemo brain... I had to edit this twice because I had my age wrong. UGGGHHH!

    I was 44 when I was diagnosed 12/8/08.
    Double mastectomy on my 45th birthday 2/2/09.
    Celebrated my 46th birthday 2 weeks late--yesterday with nipple reconstruction.

    Going to live for a very long time for myself, Jake (my son), and all my friends (here on CSN) and those not in cyberspace and my family.

    Dec 3, 2009 diagnosis, routine mammo found small lump in l breast, bilat mastectomy 12/11. Just have to finish up that chemo, now, then on to reconstruction!
