Neuroendocrine tumor

Has anyone had a neuroendocrine tumor of the rectum, anus, or colon? I was diagnosed with rectal cancer, a neuroendocrine type, in 2002 at age 32, and I am told it is a rare type of tumor to occur in the rectal/anal area. I had chemo, a colostomy, radiation in 2002-early 2003, then a recurrence this past Sept. 2003 in my liver, with a good respose to chemo so far.

Any responses with information would be appreciated.
