My sincerest sympathy to you. I know you've kept us up to date with how things were progressing and I appreciate that you took the time to do that. I could tell how very much you loved JR and what great care you took of him. Please take care of yourself as you go through this difficult time. My prayers are with you.

    Thanks
Thank you all for being here for John and myself. You helped so much with information on so much stuff. At the first it is such a shock and I turned to all of you.

John called the shots right to the end. He went 42 days without food and could still walk some. Was talking and with us till the end. The hospice nurse couldn't believe that he was still going. I think he would have lived to be 100 if it weren't for the cancer. He wanted to go before the end of the year because of the insurance starting over and he did. It was also his mother's birthday.

We both want you all to keep up the fight and hope. Thanks to all of you. I haven't been on the board and have lost track of where people are. I will check in from time to time after things calm down. Love and best to all of you from John (JR) and myself. Paula

    My condolences
Paula... I'm so sorry to hear of John's passing and the emotional roller coaster you must be on right now. I'm glad that John called the shots and did it his way... hopefully that is a comfort for you as you are dealing with this huge loss. I'm not sure I understand when you say he wanted to go before the end of the year because of the insurance starting over (??).

You know you are in our thoughts and this home is your home as well. When things calm down, you know we'll have your chair waiting for you to come back any time and we'll be here for you to talk to because you know we all understand the journey you and John went on together.

    Hugggggs,

    Cheryl

    Insurance
Here your insurance deductibles start all over again at the first of the year. This is the reason the hospitals (so I was informed since I had my surgery in December) are usually full at the end of December, everyone getting their surgeries in, before their deductibles start over.
