You know I did not know her, did not get the opportunity to correspond with her like I have with all of you but, yet she was a sister in pink and my heart hurts. She was brave even gallant in her battle to survive and manage the public view as well. Rest in peace, prayers will be said for those left behind.

Absolutely Megan...I know I
Absolutely Megan...I know I don't pop in too often, but when I heard the news this is the first place I signed into.... Candle is lit... she was a light of inspiration... as a statement released by her family said "a kindred spirit" she was.

I picked up on that immediately, and it made her even more "one of us". Rest at last in peace,Elizabeth.
(one of her favorite quotes)
Ring the bells that still can ring,
Forget your perfect offering.
There is a crack in everything -
That's how the light gets in.

My candle is burning, and the tears are falling.

I've been kind of down since I heard this and am sitting here with tears rolling down my check while I am typing. She was one strong woman and I truly admire her. Rest In Peace dear Elizabeth.
It hit me too. Way too close to all of us. She was and is an inspiration to all of us and I know that she is up there cheering on the rest of us0 -

I am also very sad. I would often tell me family and friends who were worried about me to just look at Elizabeth Edwards (at how well she managed her disease) . I think that now I will try to live my life with the same grace and dignity that she did hers. I will light a candle tonight and say a prayer. God rest her soul. Surf0
