Saundra is at peace
Our faith has made this transition bearable, yet sad to lose the one person whose gracious spirit and candid outlook held us all together.
What I have learned is that being a caregiver is a sacred privilege, the foremost priority, and that all other distractions are unimportant. I've also learned that there is no reason for delayed gratification. If you want to do something, taste something, go somewhere, or be with someone — do it. Build memories and document them with photos and journal entries.
God bless you all. You have made her three years and eight months with this group a source of encouragement, knowledge, and hope.
Joe

Hi Joe,
It is breaking my heart writing this, but Saundra has her wings now and she is pain free. My mum got her wings 4 months ago, I miss her so much but I know she will never leave me. Saundra will never leave those she cares about but she is pain free now. God Bless Saundra and god bless those that are grieving.

Joe:
I only had a short time of reading and sending posts to Saundra but still knew what a wonderful human being she was. My prayers are with you and your family. Thank you so much for taking the time to send your beautiful message.

Yes, Joe, being a caregiver is a sacred priviledge, just as each day is a sacred journey. I'm praying that the empty place in your heart will heal in due time, as Saundra watches over you from her new home in heaven.
We share your loss, as Saundra was so special to us here. Your family is in my prayers.0 -
sad
So sad to hear of the living world's loss of Saundra. She will remain alive in our hearts and minds and in spirit. I remember last spring when Saundra wrote of her desire for her family to reunite in July. So glad she got that wish and probably many others on her journey home. God bless you and your family, Joe. So sorry for your loss.
Sending a few hugs,

DEAREST JOE
My deepest, deepest sympathy for your untimely loss. I am blessed by the words you have shared of how much Saundra means to you and your family. Please know that she has also meant a great deal to all of us warriors here on this board. Her helpfullness, her upbeat spirit, her words of encouragement, the time she took to share with all of us will not be forgotten. This is such a lovely photo of her, and I believe that at this very moment her smile graces Heaven and she is walking with the Lord in a completely new and healthy body. May God give grace, peace and strength to all of you. And may the memories that all of you have created together bring you joy and strength.

My deepest sympathy
I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't really "Know" Saundra but it's obvious the ladies on this board loved her and cherished her insight and support. I am sure she will be sorely missed by family and friends. Take comfort in that fact that she is no longer suffering.
Hugs,
