    Speaking of possum, I had a housekeeper, Miss Fanny, who ate a possum for Thanksgiving. I remember asking her if she had her turkey and she said no, she had a possum that had been in the freezer for 6 years and it was now ripe. I asked her daughter, Elsie, if she was going to eat possum too and she "I don't eat that s**t." Elsie fixed a turkey. I tried to talk them into eating the armadillo tearing up my yard, but no one would eat an armadillo.
