    What a wonderful project!!
What a wonderful project!! Even with the warmed blankets I'm usually cold as soon as the "warm" wears off.

I use Mighty Mend It for many of my "sewing" needs.

C.C. how ya doing with your 'loving' project ?
Did you find labels ? Sewing - glue ? So wonderful that you're giving back!

    Happy to know you :-)

    Prayer Blanket
I also received a prayer quilt today from St. David's Episcoptal Church in Ashburn, Va. These ladies make a blanket (color of your choice) and tie threads of string in each quilt patch. Each time a person ties a knot they offer a prayer to the person receiving the quilt. It's very nice and has a patch sewn on it with my name on it that says: "This quilt was made for Tammy with love, hope, and prayers. Each knot represents a prayer that was said for you, November 2010" I can't sew worth a darn so I wouldn't be good at any advice in that department.

My daughter and I are involved in MOPS (mothers of preschoolers) at a Methodist Church in Ashburn. Our prayer counsler had my quilt made from her church. When I arrived today they had the quilt laid out and a nice prayer typed up and sitting beside it. She asked everyone to use that prayer or say their own prayer as they tied a knot. I'm so thankful!

I think it's a great idea if you want to make something of this nature.

Thank you for doing this for cancer patients, it's such a great support!

That is such a great thing
That is such a great thing for you to do, you remind me of my mom when she took chemo she would take extra food so if someone didn't have a snack she would share hers. I like covered in love and warm fuzzies. Hugs :) Robbin

I now have a total of (drum
I now have a total of (drum roll please) 24 blankets. I have kept one for myself and I gave one to my mother-in-law who was in the hospital last week. So that really leaves 22. My mother-in-law was my first test patient and she loved it--perfect timing because she said she was freezing.

Danny has started helping me and his blankets look great! First though, he watched the video and then, being an engineer, had to try it his way--that blanket ended up a mess...lol! Anyway, he is playing by the rules now and has made about 5 very nice blankets. He took pity on me because I now have a perpetual bandaid on my right thumb.

I did order very cute iron on labels and I will take a photo when they arrive.

Thanks for all of the kind words and support.
