Great news!! CT scan results
Well I got my 3rd post surgery CT scan this Wednesday and my dr emailed me that there was no cancer to be seen!!!!!!! So over the moon being happy and feeling very blessed. Know all the prayers that we say for each other must be helping. I am always a little nervous and prepared for bad news because I know it can happen but most of all thinking it will be clear. My positivity with reality. Wish everyone could be this lucky. My theory is the longer we live the more cures they will find. take care, have a great weekend everyone.

Your green hair might blend in in New Orleans!!!! ---so great to hear the good news Donna! With one of my husband's jobs, we lived just outside of New Orleans for a year---friendly folks, but wild place. Don't let your grand kids go to spring break there!
We just had to give you a big "ATTA GIRL"! You have been through a lot and deserve some good news.

Donna,
So happy to hear your news. I agree with Kim....you might want to break out the green dye again for New Orleans!! Enjoy your trip! Charlie goes for his next PET in mid Nov and we decided to go on a short cruise with friends right before the scan...just hope we don't have too much scanxiety while cruising!! We also feel to blessed to be at this point 18 months after Charlie's diagnosis.
I need to share a little story...I have a CaringBridge site set up for Charlie and my mom and dad (MAD!!) post everyday...they live in SC and we are in FL. Just this week my dad shared part of a sermon from one of his favorite priests back in NJ...where we are all originally from. Father Chris told him when people pray for you, it is like a someone is shining a flashlight on you so God can see you better. Don't your just love that!!!
Take care...and continue to be strong.

Hi,
Just loved the priests saying. Will have to write it down so I can tell it to others. Thanks all of you for your words of cheer. Many people have prayed for me all over, one got her quilting group and her Bible class to pray for me and sent me cards etc and she sadly did not win in her fight against cancer. That is very humbling to know, we as survivors have to walk around and do good for those who did not get the chance. take care, thanks again everyone.
