It's over for now
I have missed you guys so much and plan to get back in here and help & be helped shortly. I need about 2 weeks of solitude & quiet.Hopefully that will bring my 'spark' back.
I wonder...what does a caregiver do after there is no one to give care to anymore? I feel lost.
Love you guys. Be back soon.

Pat:
My sincerest condolences.
What does a caregiver do when there is no longer anyone to care for? I have thought of that several times and the only thing I come up with is peace, peace that you did the very best you could to help them through the transition, the illness and they felt the love you had for them. You will feel lonely but I sincerely hope it passes quickly. Wonderful memories will sustain you and soon you will smile again.
Take care - Tina0 -
So sorry for your loss
Dear Pat,
I am so sorry for the lose of your parents and so close together.
There are always those you can be a 'caregiver' to...maybe not in the same way as your folks, but those to whom you can give hope and encouragement to and stand as a friend to.
May you find some peace in fond memories of your folks.
Hugs,
Marie who loves kitties0 -
What to Do?
Well hopefully, Pat
You'll have some "takin' care of Pat" time. You've been on the go so much taking care of everything. I'm very very sorry on the passing of your parents - that's alot for anyone especially back to back like that. More than anyone could deal with at one time.
I am hoping for peace and calm for you and that things will settle down and you'll find yourself again - best of luck in your continued journey and I hope for all clear for a long time to come.

Pat
I am really sorry for the loss of your Mom. I have been thinking about you a lot + wondering how you were doing; I know you have had a rough period. I hope you are able to take some time out for you + assess what you want to do from here. Like Kerry said, you can help us! Seriously, think of some wonderful things you can do for Pat now.0 -

Pat - It's perfectly understandable to take some time for yourself right now. The loss of a loved one is never easy. Take time, browse through your memories, remember the love and you'll start to heal. We'll be here waiting when you fell like returning. Traci0 -
Thoughts are with you
